MASTERCLASS
Creation, Development & Destruction in Art
Presented by Mahesh Dattani

What does it take to create a work of art that resonates deeply with audiences? How do ideas evolve from an initial spark into fully realised works? And why is the willingness to dismantle, abandon or radically reimagine our own creations often essential to the artistic process?
In this masterclass, acclaimed playwright, director and screenwriter Mahesh Dattani draws on decades of experience across theatre, film and radio to reflect on the creative journey—from conception and development to the difficult but necessary act of destruction.
