Recap At REMIX 2026. OMNI stepped into a broader conversation around one of the questions shaping AI today: where does the human end and the machine begin?

Through the films we presented, the answer felt less about separating the two and more about recognising where the art begins. The tools may change, but intention, emotion and creative judgement still come from the human mind.

As Aryeh Sternberg (), one of our co-founders, reflected, just as cinema emerged through new technologies in the last century, AI cinema is becoming another form shaped by the people behind it.

A thoughtful night of film, conversation and new perspectives.

Thank you to REMIX 2026 for having OMNI.

Recap on OMNI CINEMA LAB: NODE, the conversation brought together a range of ideas and perspectives.

From storytelling and creative authorship to personalised, real-time cinema, one idea remained clear: technology may expand what is possible, but story still gives it meaning.

We also explored what it means to build for smaller, genuinely engaged audiences, where connection can matter more than scale, and creators are recognised for the communities they build.

Thank you to everyone who joined the discussion, challenged ideas and carried the conversation forward.

In our latest conversation with Tolga Ülkümen (), he reflects on a turning point in advertising, as clients who were once hesitant about AI become increasingly open to its role in the creative process.

That changing landscape shaped Beef, his film recognised with the OMNI Silver AI Performance Award at Hyperphantasia.

Hear his perspective on AI, advertising, and what happens when an emerging technology starts becoming part of the creative language.

OMNI CINEMA LAB, TOKYO πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

What happens when a room full of strangers goes quiet for the same film?
Last week, OMNI landed in Tokyo for an intimate evening of film, conversation, and new connections with director Ikuo Yamamoto, one of our visionary filmmakers.
A small screening. Shared ideas. Time with Tokyo's creative community, alongside our Japan team: Keijiro, Hero Kominato, and Mishima. Still exploring inspiration. Still imagining the future of film.
