Mustsee Shows - Musical and Theatre Society - Sydney East

Mustsee Shows - Musical and Theatre Society - Sydney East MUSTSEE Shows is the new Musical & Theatre Society in the Sydney’s East. Hence the key reason for MUSTSEE Shows in the East to be born!

We look forward to creating quality amateur shows, rehearsing and performing in the Eastern Suburbs. MUSTSEE is an acronym of MUSical Theatre Sydney East

Sydney’s East has had a long and proud history of presenting high-quality amateur and professional musical theater. It provided excellent training in all aspects of stagecraft and many opportunities for individuals to learn and develop numerous

skills. Sadly however, over the past years, what’s been lacking is a locally-based community musical theater group. The Committee behind MUSTSEE Shows has a combined experience in amateur musical theater and professional entertainment of over 80 years - in performance, production and talent management. All committee members serve on a voluntary basis on top of performing work and personal commitments.

Introducing Craig Nudelman

MustSee Shows is excited to see the role of Carole King’s writing partner and husband, Gerry Goffin, being undertaken by Craig Nudelman. Craig first stepped onto the stage in 2017 as a Crow in The Wizard of Oz (Gilbert & Sullivan Society), returning in 2018 as Old Adam in Ruddigore and later taking centre stage as Charlie Brown in Snoopy: The Musical. More recently, he was seen as Professor Callahan in MustSee Shows’ debut production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Craig is grateful to be part of such a talented and generous company, and to contribute both onstage and as part of the committee. He would like to thank his fellow principals for their trust, collaboration and the ease they bring to the stage, as well as the cast, crew and creative team. He is especially grateful to his family for their constant support (and patience with the vocal warm-ups — and the songs).

See Craig charm his way into your hearts this June 25-July 5 at Darling Quarter Theatre

We’ve can’t get enough of the music of Carole King and Gerry Goffin.

Without a doubt, one of our favourite songs has to be Some Kind of Wonderful, which they wrote together for vocal group The Drifters.

What’s your favourite song by these prolific songwriters?
