Hi! I'm Katherine.
I've been an artist and illustrator for many years. Since I was a young child, I have drawn. Through my mother, who herself has a lifelong interest in fashion, its history and costume design, I learned to sew. She inspired my interest in textiles, colour and textures and I have searched for and collected them on travels in Asia, Egypt, Europe and here in Australia. I have used and combined these in designs and objects I have made for homes, family, friends and myself.
As an illustrator I have developed a range of styles tailored to the needs of the different magazines and books in which my work has been published.
I hope visitors to this page enjoy my work. I am available for commissions.
