A kouklitsa called Sophia

A kouklitsa called Sophia Sophia has had challenges but she doesn't let it stop her! Follow our journey on a little girl with autism. developmental delay & idiopathic short stature

Sophia was born at 36 weeks 3 days due to IUGR and polyhydramnios. At birth she was 2.185kg (4lb 13oz). She stayed in special care nursery for 20 days before coming home. What was originally a diagnosis of Robinow Syndrome with global developmental delay (at 14 months old) has now changed. At 2 years 4 months Sophia was diagnosed with high functioning autism. She took her first steps at 2.5 years

old and started walking full time 2 months later. She loves to sing, dance, play iPad and is a big people pleaser. She knows all her letters and numbers and has some sight words also! She has come in leaps and bounds and I am proud to be her mummy!
