Isabella-Rose Calvo is a recent graduate of the Diploma of Musical Theatre from Brent Street Performing Arts. Upon graduating she has worked with Noteable Theatre Company in their productions: Kinky Boots as a featured dancer and played support lead, Violet in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. As well as musical theatre skills, Isabella has acted in a number of TVC’s such as Catch.Com and SBS World
Cup. Isabella has also found a new passion for Latin dancing ranging from different styles of Salsa to Bachata and Samba. She is currently working on expanding these latin dance skills with Samba Instructor, Geo Dancer at Latin Dance Australia & Salsa Instructor, Mercedes Olivera at Sabor y Ritmo. Whilst continuing her training with Ali Calder (Vocal), Kat Hoyos (Acting) and partaking in regular Musical Theatre/Jazz Classes at Sydney Dance Company, Isabella is eager to continue developing her dance skills in the Latin performance world so she can thrive as a multi-talented, triple threat performer. Isabella has also trained with Simone Sault and Paul Tabone in “The Broadway & West End Experience” Workshop where she developed her skills and gained an enormous amount of insight and knowledge in the industry. Isabella’s long-term aspirations are diverse, ranging from working on stage, to screen, cruise ships, theme parks, and other large-scale corporate events. She is excited to use her skills in various mediums to provide audiences a sense of relief from daily stresses and allow them to momentarily escape reality. Isabella wishes to create an environment where she can express her unique character and surround audiences with an atmosphere full of excitement and astonishment.
