Twisted Element brings you
Premiering October 2026 in Sydney

Set in a warehouse space, this powerful and intimate immersive dance theatre work plunges us into the depths of a shared subconscious, where two fragmented selves negotiate what it means to exist: what's shed, what's held, what bleeds into the other so the whole can speak.

Performed by two formidable female dancers, moves through ritual, instinct, the raw material of female rage: rage as inheritance, language as transmutation, subjugation given a tongue.

Through embodied dialogue between these fractured selves, conditioning peels back to muscle, to instinct, to what was always underneath.

What remains is the purest register of existence.

We have been lucky to perform every year at HALO by since its inception.
It has become, in our opinion, one of the most creative, exciting and authentically underground club events in Sydney.

Each year we experiment with a test idea for a new work.

This year we performed a glimpse of our new work premiering in October in Sydney. And I think it's safe to say we have a proof of concept?!

We’re performing at HALO this Saturday, July 4.

Every year we perform at this ridiculously cool underground gothic rave at Oxford Art Factory, hosted by our friends and every year it gets bigger and wilder!

This year we’re bringing not one, but two performances.

One will be a never before seen excerpt from a new development for a brand new show we will be premiering this October, while the other is a Twisted Element fan favourite originally created for Machine Hall earlier this year.

If you’ve never experienced HALO before, expect an unforgettable night of dark music, live art, immersive performances and one of Sydney’s most creative underground communities.
