VCE – Vietnamese Cultural Ensemble is the society of Vietnamese alumni and students studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Founded in 2007 by a group of dynamic, enthusiastic, and sociable Vietnamese students with the aim of:
• Creat
ing a playground for UNSW Vietnamese students and alumni.
• Sharing our experiences in living, studying, finding accommodation, etc. to newcomers, and support one another.
• Promote Vietname Culture to international students
Missions:
Vietnamese Cultural Ensemble will serve Vietnamese overseas students and alumni of UNSW as well as the Vietnamese and Australian communities that students and alumni are apart of. With solidarity and creativity of its members, Vietnamese Cultural Ensemble will build a strong community of Vietnamese overseas students and alumni that study and thrive in Australia and make positive contribution to Vietnam. Objectives:
- To be a cultural and social hub for Vietnamese overseas students and alumni of UNSW
- To promote the understanding of Vietnamese culture to UNSW students and interested communities
- To effectively link Vietnamese overseas students and alumni at UNSW with community in Vietnam
