Today’s face is a little bit me, a little bit Jane, and a whole lot of play.

We used Jane’s “clown technique” — splashing watercolour across the face like you’re painting emotion first and features second. No perfection, no pressure… just letting the colours run the show.

She helped tweak a few bits (so it’s officially a co-creation), and I love how she pushed me to stop over-controlling the process.

Soft edges, bright eyes, loose layers — it felt good to let go and see who wanted to appear on the page.

Loving this new way of working. 🎨✨

This was my piece of the day, and yes… I got to sit in Jane’s legendary art throne.

There’s something grounding about drawing a living, breathing muse — it’s like translating presence into line.
