Diogo Moreira endured a nightmare weekend at Mandalika, with multiple crashes, 21st place in qualifying, and no points from either race.

🗣️ “It was difficult; in the end, I was just trying to finish the race and not crash again. I just wanted to get this weekend over with.”

The Honda rookie finished 17th in the sprint and 16th in Sunday's Grand Prix. He admitted that teammate Luca Marini had a better race after making changes to his bike.

🗣️ “In the end, his pace wasn't actually that bad. He made some changes to the bike, and after that, it was better. Anyway, the weekend was extremely tough for us.”

Moreira now turns his attention to Phillip Island, where he finished on the Moto2 podium last year.

🗣️ “I like racing there. And last year the Honda didn't perform too badly. We'll see how it goes in Australia.”

Alex Rins was left frustrated after finishing 15th at the Indonesian GP, struggling with inconsistent engine braking and traction control on his Yamaha M1.

🗣️ “From the first lap onward, it was a really bad feeling throughout the entire race. Then the tires overheated – the same old story.”

The Spaniard had finished 10th in the sprint but couldn't carry that form into Sunday's race, as Yamaha continued to struggle for competitiveness.
When asked if he regretted the decision not to use the soft tyre, Rins stood by his team's choice.

🗣️ “No, I don't regret it – we're a team. What I do regret is the bike we have.”

Rins also stressed that Yamaha's difficulties have been present since the start of the season, leaving the Japanese manufacturer with plenty of work to do.

Jack Miller believes all MotoGP riders should take part in promotional activities, but says the growing workload should come with proper compensation.

🗣️ “We're all in the same boat – what makes someone so special that they don't participate while the rest of us do? If we all abstain, we'll look like idiots. Nobody's above the rules.”

MotoGP has increased its promotional demands under Liberty Media, with riders facing additional fan appearances and events during race weekends. A €5,000 fine was also announced for missing a promotional activity at the Indonesian GP.

🗣️ “I understand that it's becoming more and more, and at some point they'll have to pay us for it – the drivers, I mean.”

The Pramac Yamaha rider accepts that participation is part of the job, but believes riders should be compensated as the demands continue to grow.

Paolo Simoncelli has revealed his support for Marc Márquez in the 2026 MotoGP title fight, while paying tribute to the legacy of Valentino Rossi and his late son Marco.

🗣️ “Here, we're all in love with Valentino. Nobody hates Vale. Vale is this sport. Anyone who truly loves racing loves Valentino. Just like they love Márquez now.”

Paolo also recalled the special relationship between Marco Simoncelli and Rossi, who shared a fierce but respectful rivalry on track.

🗣️ “They lived their own story, and Marco considered him a friend, he was fond of him.”

With the championship battle tightening, Paolo made his preference clear when asked about the title contenders.

🗣️ “I'd rather Márquez win it than Martín.”

He also backed Marco Bezzecchi to fight for the championship in the future, despite his difficult season.

Nicolò Bulega is preparing for his MotoGP debut with VR46 Ducati in 2027, reuniting with Valentino Rossi after years apart.

🗣️ “Vale wrote to me two years ago, saying, ‘Come back!’”

The reigning WorldSBK champion revealed that he and Rossi have stayed in touch despite ending their professional relationship in 2019. Now, they have a second chance to work together.

Bulega also responded to Marc Márquez’s comments about his arrival in MotoGP.

🗣️ “I don't think Márquez needs to resort to strategies against me. Hearing him say that about a rider like him, who is certainly no rookie, is a source of pride and motivates me even more.”

Bulega admits he still has plenty to prove, with factory riders Márquez and Pedro Acosta leading Ducati’s development of the new 850cc machine.

🗣️ “Staying with Ducati was my biggest wish, and in the end, we achieved it. Now a new challenge begins.”

Yamaha managing director Paolo Pavesio believes MotoGP can grow its global audience by improving its business model while preserving what makes motorcycle racing unique.

🗣️ “MotoGP is a beautiful sport, and we don’t necessarily have to make it super trendy.”

Pavesio pointed to Formula 1 as an example of how motorsport can become a stronger business, while stressing that MotoGP must follow its own path.

🗣️ “The important thing is that it grows.”

He also reminded fans that manufacturers invest in MotoGP to sell motorcycles, making commercial growth essential to the championship’s future.

🚨 Adelaide MotoGP Circuit Faces Growing Opposition: 377 Trees at Risk

Plans for MotoGP’s new Adelaide street circuit are facing fresh challenges, with the city council submitting eight formal objections to the Australian government over the $96 million project.

The proposed circuit, scheduled to host its first MotoGP race in November 2027, has raised concerns over environmental impacts, community consultation and rider safety.

🌳 Up to 377 trees could be removed from Adelaide Park Lands, while a legal challenge is also seeking to halt construction.

The Federal Court has not yet suspended the project, and the South Australian government says it will defend the plans.

With Phillip Island set to host its final Australian GP in 2026, uncertainty continues to surround MotoGP’s proposed move to Adelaide.

Marc Márquez has received Spain’s 2025 National Sports Prize after an incredible comeback to win his ninth world championship.

Ramón Forcada believes Marc Márquez is handling the championship fight intelligently, taking points when the Ducati isn't strong enough to challenge for victory.

Despite Aprilia's dominance at Mandalika, Márquez avoided unnecessary risks and managed to maintain his advantage over Jorge Martín.

🗣️ “He doesn't panic.”

Forcada also highlighted Aprilia's stability on corner entry as a key factor behind its strong performance. With the title fight approaching its final rounds, he believes managing opportunities could prove just as important as outright speed.

Johann Zarco returns to Phillip Island, where he claimed his first MotoGP victory, but admits winning again will be difficult under normal conditions.

🗣️ “It's a circuit with very fast corners. It seems like we're struggling at all the fast circuits, so Aprilia might be the best bike. Under normal conditions, we can never win.”

The LCR Honda rider finished 13th at Mandalika after a challenging weekend, including two crashes in qualifying. He's now focused on finishing the season strongly.

🗣️ “If the conditions are rainy or the track is wet, I'd change my mind. That could change my perspective.”

Rain could give Zarco a chance to fight for the win in Australia, just as he did at Le Mans.
