Abstract Art Jane Dambrauskas

Abstract Art Jane Dambrauskas I love the wanderings of acrylic paint that points and pivots on a substrate. Bright and busy. I also play the drums.

I started with ceramics and then toured watercolor, I found my feet with acrylic paints and abstraction. As an Australian abstract expressionist painter, I tap into the subconscious mind, allowing emotions, memories, and experiences to flow onto the canvas. My artistic journey is a deeply personal and intuitive process, driven by a desire to capture the essence of the human experience. Through bol

d brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and textured layers, my paintings evoke a sense of dynamic energy and emotional depth. I am highly motivated by values, hue and contrast, however my muse changes. While some pieces may appear purely abstract, others whisper subtle narratives, inviting the viewer to unravel the subconscious storytelling. My work often explores the intersection of emotional response to the human condition. Is a testament to the universal language of art, transcending words and speaking directly to the soul. With two finalist selections in prominent art competitions and a sold piece, my artistic voice continues to evolve, driven by an insatiable passion for creative expression. I invite viewers to immerse themselves in my paintings, allowing the subconscious narratives to unfold and the emotions to resonate with them.
