Tell me why it took me THIS long to connect these dots. 🤯

Long before François Chau was Dr. Pierre Chang, the mysterious DHARMA Initiative scientist from LOST, he was hiding behind the mask of Shredder in 1991’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

Same actor. Two completely different characters. Two completely different eras of pop culture.

As someone who loves both TMNT and LOST, finding little connections like this is exactly why nostalgia never gets old. 🐢🏝️

Please tell me I’m not the only one who just found this out.

It’s hard to say goodbye to someone who was responsible for so many great memories growing up.

Tim Curry was one of those rare actors who could walk into a movie and completely own it. Whether he was the suspicious concierge in Home Alone 2, the brilliantly chaotic Wadsworth in Clue, the unforgettable Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, or Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island, he made every character unmistakably his own.

Some of these movies are permanently tied to my childhood, and Tim was a huge part of what made them so memorable. As I got older, I only came to appreciate his talent, and just how incredible his range - was even more.

He was funny, theatrical, weird, menacing, charming, completely original, and absolutely impossible to imitate.

Thank you, Tim, for all the laughs, the characters, and the memories. You’ll live on every time we revisit them. ❤️

I got invited inside the world’s first official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizzeria in Santa Monica 🍕🐢

Carlos from Carlos Castillo brought me along, and the night was basically pizza, arcade games, ridiculous amounts of TMNT nostalgia… and one allegedly broken pinball machine. 😂

The full adventure is up now on YouTube — Neon Arcade.

I JUST FOUND A VIRTUAL BLOCKBUSTER 🤯📼

If you miss the days of wandering around Blockbuster trying to figure out what movie to rent, you need to see BingeBuster.net.

You connect your streaming services, walk around a virtual video store, browse movies by section just like the old days, and when you find something you want to watch, it opens it on the streaming service you already have.

Basically… someone took the soulless endless scrolling of modern streaming and turned it back into a Friday night at the video store. 😂

This is EXACTLY the kind of unnecessary nostalgia technology I want more of.

Who else remembers spending 45 minutes walking around Blockbuster only to rent something you’d already seen 12 times? 😂📼

FREE W***Y almost became a very different 90s movie after Warner Bros. saw the audience reaction at its first test screening. 🐋🎬

According to Free W***y producer Mark Marshall, Warner Bros. didn’t initially have much faith in the movie. But everything changed when they screened it in front of a live audience.

The reaction was so strong that the studio suddenly started paying attention and wanted to put more money behind the film.

It’s a fascinating piece of Free W***y behind-the-scenes history and a reminder that sometimes the audience recognizes something special before the studio does.

Sam Neill’s final screen role will reportedly be in the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie.

Before his passing, Neill completed filming for an undisclosed role in the Nintendo and Sony adaptation, currently scheduled for April 30, 2027.

Could he be playing the King of Hyrule? A wise mentor? Something completely unexpected?

We won’t know until the movie arrives—but what a way to leave one final mark on the screen.

A legendary actor. A final adventure. ⚔️✨

Felt like doing a cover of this song as a small way of honoring Kavinsky today.

We should all watch DRIVE tonight and turn up ‘Nightcall’ all the way up.
