ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2026

The 2026 AGM of the SWR Maritime Precinct will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, 7th. February in the Meeting Room below the Roxy Cinema in Gregory St.
We would love to see some 'new faces', especially anyone who is interested in the Heritage Listed, 124 year old Maritime Precinct and helping to ensure that it continues on well into the future. The Precinct consists of the SWR Community Art Gallery, Arts & Crafts Cottage, Visitor Information Centre and the Maritime Museum.

GREAT XMAS PRESENTS !
At the SWR Visitor Information Centre we have 3 great gift ideas for Xmas -
2 beautiful books totally focused on 'The Rocks'...one has around 100 local photo's and the other is a fabulous history of SWR and surrounds ! These are both JUST $25 each.
The other is a beautifully engraved Pen and Torch set for JUST $12.50.

Come and join us...our 2025 AGM is being held this Saturday, 15th., February at 2 pm in the Meeting Room underneath the Roxy Cinema in Gregory St. All positions will be declared vacant and a new Committee elected, so if you are interested in helping to Manage and preserve our three 120 year old Cottages please come along ! The Maritime Precinct consists of the Arts and Craft Cottage, Maritime Museum, Community Art Gallery and Visitor Information Centre. Love to see you there !

Another great milestone for the Maritime Precinct in being nominated for the Community Group Of The Year Award on Australia Day. This Award belongs to everybody who is associated with the Craft Cottage, Community Art Gallery, Visitor Information Centre and Maritime Museum. A huge congratulations to all involved !

A fantastic Australia Day honour for the Maritime Precinct with me being chosen for 2 "Volunteer Of The Year Awards " today. I want to dedicate these Awards to the fabulous team of dedicated Volunteers that make our Precinct the attraction that it is has become, because without each and everyone of these people we wouldn't be getting the recognition that we now are !

A huge thank you to Kempsey Shire Council for giving us a Grant of $5,000 which will go towards the installation of Security Screens on the 3 Heritage Listed Cottages that go to make up the Maritime Precinct !
