What does the Local Pools & Spas experience feel like? This Glenbrook family tells us…

For this Glenbrook family, the perfect pool wasn’t just about how it looked — it was about how it would fit into their lives.

They wanted to spend their weekends enjoying the pool, not cleaning it. They wanted the tranquillity of a beautiful water feature and the relaxation of a spa, all seamlessly incorporated into the design.

Our display centre gave them the opportunity to see their ideas come to life before construction even began — visualising the design, experiencing the features and understanding just how easy their pool would be to enjoy.

From their first visit through to the finished result, our team made the entire process feel easy and stress-free.

They loved the experience, they love the finished pool, and they were impressed by how quickly it all came together.

Because the right pool isn't just one that looks amazing — it's one that's designed around the way you want to live.

A pool is a big investment. The shell shouldn’t be where you compromise.

At Local Pools & Spas, we exclusively use Compass Pools Australia fibreglass shells with a ceramic core — because when you’re investing in a pool, quality matters.

There are plenty of pools on the market that may look similar on the surface. But what’s underneath can make a huge difference to the strength, durability and long-term performance of your pool.

We choose Compass because we believe in building pools that are made to last — not simply finding the cheapest way to get one into the ground.

It’s one of the reasons we’ve built an outstanding reputation with our customers and consistently receive some of the best reviews among NSW pool builders.

Because the cheapest pool isn’t necessarily the best value. Choose quality now and enjoy your pool for years to come.

Flashback Friday: Still loving it, 25+ years later. 💦

Vicki shared this photo with us of the pool we built for her family well over 25 years ago.

And this is exactly why we love what we do.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a pool we built decades ago still being enjoyed by the family who chose us.

The design, technology and way we build pools has changed significantly since then. But knowing our customers are still enjoying their pool after 25+ years is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Because while the industry continues to evolve, one thing hasn’t changed:

Our commitment to our customers.

Thank you, Vicki, for sharing this with us. ❤️

What if your pool could do more than you think? 💦

When most people think about a pool, they picture swimming, cooling off and spending time with the family.

But what if you expanded the way you think about your pool?

At Haven Wellness Spa in Smeaton Grange, we helped create two completely different water experiences.

A 38°C mineral pool enriched with magnesium, sodium and boron for deep relaxation.

And a 6–7°C cold plunge designed to provide an invigorating physical and mental reset.

Two pools. Two completely different purposes.

It’s a great example of what’s possible when you stop thinking about a pool as simply a place to swim and start thinking about how water can become part of the experience you want to create.

Whether it’s relaxation, wellness, fitness, entertainment or family fun...

Your pool can be so much more.

It’s the problem pool owners can’t see until it’s too late. 💦

Hydrostatic pressure.

It happens when groundwater builds up around your pool and puts pressure against the pool shell.

The industry standard relies on traditional methods to manage this pressure.

HydroPro is patented Compass Pools technology designed to actively manage groundwater and hydrostatic pressure around the pool shell.

Why does that matter?

Because what’s happening underneath your pool can have a major impact on its long-term performance.

It’s something most pool buyers never think about — but it’s exactly why the technology behind your pool matters.

ONE POOL. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. 💦

This Harrington Park pool was designed around a family who wanted a backyard that could grow with them.

With plenty of space for the bigger kids to swim, play and have fun while the adults have their own space to relax in the spa, this backyard delivers the best of both worlds.

Fitness. Fun. Relaxation. Family time.

It’s more than just a pool — it’s an entertainment space where everyone can enjoy summer in their own way.

Because the best backyard is one that brings the whole family together.

SMALL BACKYARD? WE’VE GOT YOU. 💦

For decades, we’ve been transforming small backyards into spaces that feel anything but small.

We understand that when space is limited, every centimetre matters. It takes experience, creativity and careful planning to design a pool and outdoor space that works beautifully within the backyard you have.

And that’s exactly what we love doing.

Creating clever, beautiful spaces where you can relax, entertain and make memories all summer long — without needing a huge backyard.

So if you’ve been thinking your backyard is too small for a pool, think again.

Your dream backyard might be closer than you think.
