Looking for a summer camp activity that works for big groups, broad age ranges & limited staff? 🏕️
At the Live Gaming Innovation Summit in London, Nicole Lander shared the idea that started Battlefield Sports: bringing the thrill of a video game to life. 🎮
That idea remains at the heart of what we do, especially for camps seeking memorable, scalable experiences.
Cedar Springs Camp in Washington, USA, needed an activity that could engage everyone from young children to teens and adults, while staying practical to run.
Outdoor laser tag became part of the answer.
They needed an experience that could:
• Engage players from age five through to adults. Our oldest outdoor laser tag player to date was 88!
• Accommodate large groups with fewer supervisors
• Keep campers excited to return year after year
With Battlefield Sports’ commercial outdoor laser tag, Cedar Springs created programs for younger players through to ages 13+, using story-driven missions to make every game more immersive.
“When the kids had a storyline… they got really engaged. Offering a ‘special ops’ theme in our summer camp has worked well for us.”
— Mark McKinney, Cedar Springs Camp
The best live-action gaming experiences are not just about equipment. They give operators the tools to bring their own vision to life, whether that is a special-ops mission, a historical battle or something completely original. 🚀
Planning for next season? Ask: will your next attraction scale with your group size, age range and staffing?
