Just an update for those trying to book the holiday program, there was an issue with Stripe this morning. I have just finally been able to rectify between WIX and Stripe! Yeah. You should be able to book the sessions now. So sorry for the inconvenience - I am sure all things tech based blow up when I walk near them!!!!

Apparently, my brain and Humanitix have decided not to be friends tonight! 😂 Dates are all sorted, but the booking details are taking me a little longer than expected. This was one of our last Mission Mayhem Dart Sessions… and we're bringing them back these school holidays!

All ages are welcome!

We have been incredibly lucky over the years to receive donations of foam dart blasters from our wonderful community, and we now have literally hundreds to choose from on the day!

That's right… when the kids walk into the tunnel and see table after table of blasters ready for them to pick from, the jaws absolutely drop!

It never gets old watching their faces light up. We LOVE it!

Another great cooking session in the books and a little more relaxed one today.

This time we whipped up San Choi Bow – fresh, crunchy, full of flavour and honestly… something I could eat all day long. From sizzling fillings to loading up our lettuce cups, everyone did an amazing job, and the kitchen smelled incredible.

There's something special about cooking together, trying new flavours and then sitting down to enjoy the delicious results. Well done, chefs!

🎉 WAHOO!! School Holidays are just around the corner! 🎉

We have been busy cooking up some seriously fun adventures for the June Holidays at our NEW Monbulk Headquarters! Again, the holidays have so snuck up on me!

In the pot so far, we have:

⚔️ Mission Mayhem Dart War Sessions (2.5 - 3.0 hours)
🏙️ Giant Cardboard Cities (2 hours)
🧁 Cupcake Decorating & Fancy Cups of Tea (1.5 hours)
🧱 LEGO Hangout Sessions (with optional challenges if you feel like them!) (2 hours)
🌀 Beyblade Battle Sessions (1.5 to 2.0 hours)

All taking place under our giant nursery tunnels, so there is plenty of undercover space for creativity, adventures and making new friends, rain, hail or shine! 🌿✨

Dates and times will be confirmed by Tuesday.

If any of the above spark excitement in your house, pop a comment below or send me a DM to register your interest and be first on the list when bookings open!

Age groups will vary dependent on interest and we may need to split groups accordingly. For younger ones, parent participation may be required and there will be coffee and tea if any parents are wanting to hang around. Sessions will run for between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the activity.

Who is keen? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️. If there are any other ideas you would really like to see happen, just put them out there, and we can see if we can squeeze in any more sessions!

Doh!!!! Forgot to add teen mosaic session and paint and sip for the teens!!!! Remember let me know your interest do we can plan times today and what groups to go ahead with.

Have to say, one of my favourite nights of the week is Sunday nights with our D&D Teen group. ❤️

It is so lovely to watch them enjoying our new fancy room, which we have finally finished renovating (well... apart from the heating/cooling unit still to be installed! 😄).

Not only are they getting to enjoy a beautiful space that feels a little luxurious and very cosy, but they are also spending the evening drinking tea from a collection of gorgeous old teacups that were kindly donated to us.

There is something quite magical about watching a group of teens choose to spend their evening this way. They're not out getting up to things they probably shouldn't be; instead, they're gathered around a table, playing D&D, sharing food and tea, laughing until they can't breathe, and creating epic stories together.

A room full of giggles, imagination, friendship and storytelling.

Honestly... It's pretty perfect!

What a fantastic afternoon on a big city adventure yesterday with the cooking crew and possibly a couple of sneaky extras!

With Holly at the helm, we headed off to explore all things Korean as she practises navigating and planning her way around the city in readiness for her upcoming exchange program in Korea. It also gave us the perfect excuse to sample as many Korean goodies as possible along the way!

The kids had an absolute blast catching the train into the city, wandering through an epic Asian supermarket filled with all sorts of sweet treats and treasures, then relaxing in the Flagstaff Gardens to enjoy some of their delicious finds.

From there, we headed off to enjoy some super yummy Korean food, which was definitely a highlight of the day!

And of course, no city adventure would be complete without a stop at Miniso. Such a cute shop, and a big hit with the kids!

A wonderful day filled with new experiences, lots of laughs, great food, and even better company. We really do have such an amazing bunch of kids. ❤️

Already looking forward to the next adventure! Next time, Forest is in charge! Well done Holly!

Parents, you’re welcome in advance...

I think one of the very first workshops we need to get moving on at the new HQ is teaching kids how to use a Kärcher pressure washer! Hear me out: It counts as essential life skills.

✅They get to play with high-powered water.
✅They can take those newly acquired skills home to clean your driveways.
✅It might strictly benefit my own backyard first...

It’s a win-win for everyone! What do you think—would you sign your kids up for a "Pressure Washer 101" class?

We’re alive, we promise!

We have been so flat out working on the new headquarters that we’ve completely neglected our updates! The boys and I haven’t stopped moving because we want to get these workshops up and running for you ASAP (with Mum and Winnie along, helping most of the time too!).

Here is what we’ve been up to behind the scenes:

* Cleared mountains of rubbish from around the site - so so much....
* Transformed the old office into a secure lock-up for workshop equipment.
* Turned the shop into a beautiful, luxurious space.

We also tackled one of our smelliest projects yet: the front gate fountain! It hasn't run since the major storms years ago. It was a massive learning curve. We emptied the sludge, scrubbed it, checked for leaks, and filled it up.

Then came the "Doh!" moment. Miles put the water lilies back in, but we didn't realise we needed to rinse the dirt off and repot them first. As soon as they hit the water, it turned pitch black again! At least not filled with sludge though!!!

Oh well, so much learning to do, but so much fun along the way. Stay tuned for the final reveal photos!
