Hey Fam, hope everyone’s doing really well.
I’m doing something a little different and this time. I remember going to my first songwriters circle in my late teens, in a little wine bar in Paddington. As an aspiring musician I thought it was amazing to be able to see some local, established artists share their songs and stories in a manner that was organic and real. I love the big shows, even solo shows at a theatre or hall, but there’s something different when the artist is sitting right in front of you, where you can ask questions or just sit and see who the artist really is.
So that’s what got me inspired to host this night. Who knows, if it goes well we might be able to do another one and showcase various local artists on the regular.
If you know anyone who might be interested, send this to them. It would be awesome to have a few people there, and the musicians playing are truely inspiring 😊
