Rushworth Artistries Rushworth Artistries is the creation of two avid Artists of all genres - Heather Wellington & Lyn Rumble.

RUSHWORTH ARTISTRIES is a group of local creatives interested in bringing together opportunities and activities in Arts & Crafts within the Rushworth & districts. Heather & Lyn both live in Rushworth, and regularly paint together socially at the Rushworth Community House each term - as well as go out on field trips to research and photograph subjects near and far. Rushworth Artistries was created

in 2016, for their first 'Pleine Aire' Painting Day and consequent 10 day Exhibition of the painted works at the Motofinish Cafe, Rushworth. The day was such a huge success that many requests were received to continue the annual event. Artists near and far are encouranged to join in any conversation and event when available.

We have been working on monthly projects up at the Community Hub each Thursday during school term from 10 - till 2pm approx. as part of the Community House's Art Group.
Each month during this year we have set a subject, and during that time we'll work on some kind of art and/or craft. So here are the finished pictures from our January 2026 subject:- FLOWERS.
There were many different techniques used, including sewing, beading & embroidery, coloured pencils, painting, gelli-plate printing, and some multi-media techniques along the way.
