🌿✨ A whole lot brewing up this morning! ✨🌿

The still is working its magic, essential oils are being made, and some beautiful Gumbi Gumbi hydrosol is on the way! 🌱💧

There’s something so special about working with nature’s gifts, capturing the goodness of these incredible plants and turning them into something beautiful. 🌿🍃 From aromatic essential oils to delicate hydrosols, it’s all happening here this morning! 🫶✨

🌿🖤💛❤️ **From Yeppoon to Moura** 🖤💛❤️🌿

Long weekend feels, a beautiful journey of **family, culture and connection to Country**. 🌿✨

From spending precious time with all the kids and grandchildren at the **Nhinda Festival** — making memories together. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

Then travelling on to **Gumbi Gumbi**, restocking and reconnecting on **Eric's Ghungulu Country out at Moura with the grannies**. 🌱🙏🏾

These moments with family and on Country are the ones we treasure most. Keeping culture strong, staying connected to our roots, and passing those connections on to the next generation. 🌿❤️

✨ It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks, but amongst all the craziness, I’m so happy to have completed this piece! 🎨💫

I have enjoyed seeing this idea come together and finally being able to call it finished. 🖌

Late study nights 📚🌙, busy days, lots happening behind the scenes and not enough hours in the day! 😅

But even when life gets hectic, I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning, growing and chasing the things that matter. 💪🏽❤️

I’ve spent the last two days of our holiday leave immersed in this piece, allowing the creativity to flow and seeing where the journey takes me. ❤️🌿

🌿❤️ Language. Country. Culture. Connection. ❤️🌿

Creating Warrgamay language lessons for our younger ones to facilitate has been such a special and meaningful journey. 🖤💛❤️ There’s something deeply powerful about sharing our language, keeping it alive and helping the next generation connect with who they are and where they come from.

Working alongside our beautiful matriarchs, learning from their knowledge, stories and connection to Country has made this journey even more special. 🌿👣❤️ The wisdom they carry is something to treasure, honour and pass on to our younger generations.

Being on Country while doing this work has been a spiritual cleansing for the soul — grounding, reconnecting and reminding me of what truly matters. 🌿✨

What a privilege it is to create, learn, share and walk alongside our young ones and our matriarchs, keeping our language and culture strong for generations to come. 🪃❤️

✨ A little bit of everything happening in the Yamani Designs world right now! 🎨🌿

A completed piece featuring dragonflies, representing courage and transformation. A new piece slowly coming to life, a little glimpse into my personal journey, and the base down for a new commissioned piece 😳✨

There’s lots to do, but I’m absolutely loving this time immersed in my art and creativity. ❤️

It’s been a beautiful season of grounding, slowing down, creating and allowing myself some much-needed time out. 🌿✨ Sometimes the art journey is just as much about finding yourself as it is about creating.

What a whirlwind the past month has been! ❤️

It feels like I've barely stopped, but my heart is so full.

We finished an incredible NAIDOC season with a beautiful night at the **NAIDOC Gala Ball**—and it was made even more special because we introduced our beautiful baby Peyton and Brooke to the gala ball scene for the very first time. 🥹❤️ It was a night filled with culture, pride, laughter, and memories we'll treasure forever.

No sooner had the celebrations finished than I was on a plane to Brisbane for work, making the most of every opportunity and connecting with some amazing people.

To finish the week, we attended the **Strive to Be Kind Gala Luncheon**🌻💛, a truly inspiring event that reminded me that kindness, compassion, and community are at the heart of everything we do.

Looking back, I'm so grateful—for my family, my work, my culture, and the opportunities to keep learning, growing, and giving back. Life has certainly been busy, but it's these moments that fill my cup.

Here's to making more memories, embracing every opportunity, and never forgetting where we come from. 🖤💛❤️✨

There is something so special about keeping it in the family. 🖤💛❤️

Our babies proudly ran our NAIDOC Expo stall and absolutely loved every minute of it! 🌿✨ From chatting with community members, sharing the story behind our products, and connecting with so many beautiful people, they embraced the experience with confidence and pride.

Watching the next generation grow, learn, and celebrate culture while giving back to community is something we'll always treasure. We couldn't be prouder of these young legends. 💛🙌

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a yarn, supported our small Indigenous business, and made the day so memorable. Until next time! 🖤

🎨 After a pretty full-on few months, and wrapping it all up with a wonderful NAIDOC, it was time to slow down and reconnect with myself.

Healing isn't always about words—sometimes it's found in quiet moments, with a paintbrush in hand.
✨ Creating allows me to ground myself, reflect on the journey, and reconnect with culture, spirit, and purpose.

Here's a progress shot of my newest painting, featuring dragonflies. For me, they represent healing, transformation, strength, resilience, and embracing new beginnings. Every brushstroke is part of my healing journey, reminding me to pause, breathe, and appreciate how far I've come.

I'm looking forward to sharing the finished piece with you all when it's complete. ❤️🖌🎨
