✨ A little bit of everything happening in the Yamani Designs world right now! 🎨🌿

A completed piece featuring dragonflies, representing courage and transformation. A new piece slowly coming to life, a little glimpse into my personal journey, and the base down for a new commissioned piece 😳✨

There’s lots to do, but I’m absolutely loving this time immersed in my art and creativity. ❤️

It’s been a beautiful season of grounding, slowing down, creating and allowing myself some much-needed time out. 🌿✨ Sometimes the art journey is just as much about finding yourself as it is about creating.

What a whirlwind the past month has been! ❤️

It feels like I've barely stopped, but my heart is so full.

We finished an incredible NAIDOC season with a beautiful night at the **NAIDOC Gala Ball**—and it was made even more special because we introduced our beautiful baby Peyton and Brooke to the gala ball scene for the very first time. 🥹❤️ It was a night filled with culture, pride, laughter, and memories we'll treasure forever.

No sooner had the celebrations finished than I was on a plane to Brisbane for work, making the most of every opportunity and connecting with some amazing people.

To finish the week, we attended the **Strive to Be Kind Gala Luncheon**🌻💛, a truly inspiring event that reminded me that kindness, compassion, and community are at the heart of everything we do.

Looking back, I'm so grateful—for my family, my work, my culture, and the opportunities to keep learning, growing, and giving back. Life has certainly been busy, but it's these moments that fill my cup.

Here's to making more memories, embracing every opportunity, and never forgetting where we come from. 🖤💛❤️✨

There is something so special about keeping it in the family. 🖤💛❤️

Our babies proudly ran our NAIDOC Expo stall and absolutely loved every minute of it! 🌿✨ From chatting with community members, sharing the story behind our products, and connecting with so many beautiful people, they embraced the experience with confidence and pride.

Watching the next generation grow, learn, and celebrate culture while giving back to community is something we'll always treasure. We couldn't be prouder of these young legends. 💛🙌

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a yarn, supported our small Indigenous business, and made the day so memorable. Until next time! 🖤

🎨 After a pretty full-on few months, and wrapping it all up with a wonderful NAIDOC, it was time to slow down and reconnect with myself.

Healing isn't always about words—sometimes it's found in quiet moments, with a paintbrush in hand.
✨ Creating allows me to ground myself, reflect on the journey, and reconnect with culture, spirit, and purpose.

Here's a progress shot of my newest painting, featuring dragonflies. For me, they represent healing, transformation, strength, resilience, and embracing new beginnings. Every brushstroke is part of my healing journey, reminding me to pause, breathe, and appreciate how far I've come.

I'm looking forward to sharing the finished piece with you all when it's complete. ❤️🖌🎨

Come and visit us as we proudly launch our **very own Gumbi Gumbi, Davidson Plum & Lemon Myrtle Bubble Tea** – a refreshing blend of native Australian flavours with a unique Indigenous twist! 🌿🍋🫐

We'll also have a beautiful range of **Yamani Creations** and **Yamani Designs** products available, all proudly created with culture, passion and connection to Country. 🎨✨

We're especially proud that our daughter will be launching her very first **Butterfly Collection**! 🦋💖 Our little artist in the making has poured so much love and creativity into this collection, and we can't wait for everyone to see it.

We are truly humbled and incredibly grateful to have been welcomed and embraced by the Rockhampton community. It has been such a privilege to share our culture, creativity and journey with you all. We have been looking forward to celebrating NAIDOC Week alongside our community, and we're excited to spend the day connecting, sharing stories and celebrating together. ❤️💛🖤

Officially graduated with my Diploma of Leadership and Management. So proud of this achievement and grateful for everyone who supported me along the way. ✨🙌

From my cultural knowledge and roots, I have learned the importance of connection, respect, community, and leading by example. Being able to combine these values with leadership and management skills makes this achievement even more meaningful. 🖤💛❤️
