Raising money for the WCH Fou In 2004 we had premature twins born at 34 weeks.

Thank you for visiting our page and hope to see you all here! And please dont forget we are raising much needed funds for the WCH Foundation and The Royal Adelaide Hospital Research Fund. They spent 5 weeks in the Women's and Children's hospital in the Neo...natal Intensive Care Unit and then in... the Special Care Baby Unit before being allowed home. Even when we were allowed to bring them home, they were still being fed through a nasal gastric tube. We had midwives visit us at home everyday for the next few weeks. The staff and the hospital were fantastic and very much our life line for the first couple of months of their lives. Then in 2008 we had our daughter. She too has had to spend time at the WCH. She has a rare (non life threatening) illness and is under care of doctors and specialists at the hospital. We are so thankful to have a world class hospital in Adelaide with fantastic doctors. We have always wanted to 'give back' to the hospital. That has look after our children so well. I then lost my Nan in May 2015 and my Mum in November 2015. My Nan suffered for a short time with lung cancer and my Mum lost her 2 year battle with esophagus and stomach cancer. The Royal Adelaide Hospital is where they both spent a lot of time receiving treatment...

That's where our Christmas light display comes into play. The year before our twins were born we bought our first set of Christmas lights to hang up outside. That was it, my husband became 'addicted' to Christmas lights. Each year our display has grown and grown. For the past 8 years we have accepted donations from the public to help support the WCH. This year is no different. Please come past our house from the 1st December and drop your donation into our wishing well. Then in January we will post the amount we have raised this Christmas...

With many thanks from The Wright Family

and Merry Christmas to you all.
