Det er vores engelsktalende venner fra HIT International Theatre Arts / Move the North, som fra fredag 17. april 2026 kl. 19.00 atter er Gæst på Hest.

Denne gang kommer de med en nyskrevet, musikalsk forestilling, hvor syv internationale medvirkende genbesøger den babylonske æra i mellemkrigstidens Berlin.

Our English speaking friends from HIT International Theatre Arts / Move the North are back! This April they say "Willkommen – Velkommen – Welcome" … to the powder room of a Berlin speakeasy in the year 1929.

The world premiere of the guest performance BERLIN BERLIN takes you to the dazzling Babylon era of one of the most vibrant and show-stopping cities of its time.

As a place of extremes, this was a period of wild freedom, decadence and artistic explosion on one hand, but also of growing uncertainty, economic crisis, and the first shadows of fascism lurking beneath the surface.

On stage, seven international performers revisit the German Zeitgeist, songs and characters of that era, introducing a panorama of historic woman to explore what happens when we ignore the warning signs of our time.

THE DIALOGUES
Another stimulating night of THE DIALOGUES, PRESENTED by Michael Bratchford. The final act of an intriguing play about Thomas Hardy, two short stories read by their authors, a poetic short-short, and several short plays rounded off the evening. Many thanks to the actors and to the writers for sharing their work.
