The Lighthouse Arts Collective is a group of artists and arts workers living in Point Lonsdale. The lure of the seaside, natural environment, community and a slower pace of life, saw each of us arrive here with our growing families. Raising children while making art is a daily tussle, which is shared amongst us and an inspiration to all of our practices; we’re interested in alternative models for

how life and art, children and practice can co-exist and enrich one another. Our practices engage in a variety of forms and disciplines including sound, music, performance, poetry, visual art and film. We create work in our own right and through collaborative conversation within the collective. We are excited to embed our work within the local community and facilitate cultural experiences of the highest standard, bringing artists from near and far to the Borough. WE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE GATHERED ON THE TRADITIONAL LAND OF WADDA WURRUNG PEOPLE AND HONOUR AND PAY OUR RESPECTS TO THEIR ELDERS PAST AND PRESENT.
