Our Detective: Detective Clue is played by James Letch!

James Letch (He/him) is in his 5th year of his Curtin Theatre Arts Degree and has performed in directing shows since 2022 and lunchtime shows since 2023, such as Egg Salad Sandwitch (2024), Sonder (2023), and loved working on the first Not Another Murder Mystery in 2024. James has also had a taste of the screen arts from acting in short film projects such as Zebra (2022), and Hunted (2022) and The Harry Humphrey Show (2022). James is excited to finish off his degree and see where it takes him. He is very excited to see the show reach new heights and can’t wait to share in the audience laughter as it fills the theatre.

Our Mafioso; Shay D. Sort is played by Jarrad Whitehurst.

Jarrad Whitehurst (any/all) is a Boorloo theatre maker currently studying Theatres Arts. They have acted in productions including Joan Must Die (Dir. Leah Mercer), The Government Inspector (Dir. Helen Trenos) and the original production of Not Another Murder Mystery (Dir. Ciedele Mezger) with the Hayman Theatre, as well as worked backstage at multiple venues, including Blue Room Theatre and Regal Theatre. They are excited to work on their third Fringe World show and to bring Not Another Murder Mystery back in its fresh, evolved, form!

Our Singer: Anna Capella is played by Kate Naunton Morgan.

Kate Naunton Morgan (she/her) is a Perth-based actress with over 10 years of experience in stage and screen performance. A graduate with a degree in Theatre and History, Kate has brought a dynamic presence to a wide range of roles. Her recent stage credits include Takeaway at The Blue Room Theatre, the sold-out production of UFO at Perth FRINGE WORLD 2024, The Pillowman with Hayman Theatre Company, and leading performances as Emma in Jane Austen’s Emma and the title role in Antigone. On screen, Kate has showcased her versatility in film, commercials, and modelling - most recently starring in the short film Keeps Me Grounded. Kate is thrilled to be part of Not Another Murder Mystery and looks forward to sharing the experience with audiences.

Our Politician: Polly Tickle is played by Millie Hillman

Millie Hillman (she/her) is a Perth based performer in her second year of her Interior Architecture degree at Curtin. Most recently, Millie played “Harriet Smith” in Arena Theatre Production’s Emma and “Ismene” in GRADS Antigone. Millie is always excited to be on stage, and is delighted to be performing as “Polly Tickle” for her Fringe Debut. She’s absolutely loved being part of this show and is eager for audiences to experience the magic that the talented cast and crew have brought to life. Millie would like to thank those close to her for their continued support and love throughout this process!!

Our Mechanic; Jax Hammer is played by Sam Nichols

Sam Nichols (he/they), currently starting the 2nd year of his Curtin University Creative Arts degree, has worked on numerous productions at the Hayman Theatre in his early enrolment. Having performed in director Leah Mercer’s “Joan Must Die! (I Never Liked Her Anyway)” and director Katt Osbourne’s “Enron”, Sam is very excited to now be working in writer and director Ciedele Mezger’s hilarious “Not Another Murder Mystery”. Outside of Curtin, Sam has worked in venues such as Kwinana’s Koorliny Arts Centre and Fremantle’s Curtin Theatre, which has given him the drive and motivation to pursue acting beyond his studies alone. Sam is super stoked for all kinds of audiences to fall in love with Not Another Murder Mystery and watch as the mystery fully unfurls.

Our Fortune Teller; Claire Voyante is played by

Beau Pash (any/all) is an actor, singer, dancer, and overall creative performer based in Boorloo/Perth who is starting his studies with Curtin University this year. In 2024 Beau was a senior ensemble member at the WA Youth theatre Company (WAYTCO) with production of ‘Made in Boorloo’, had his Fringe world debut of ‘150 years of Roman history in 60 minutes’ at DADAA, and performed in “Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’ with Stray Cats Theatre Company at Mandurah Performing arts centre. Beau has just recently been nominated for an award for best actor in a musical for Ben Crocker’s pantomime of ‘Puss in Boots’ at the Limelight Theatre. Beau is passionate about everything performing arts, even performing from an early age, and is very excited to pursue many more shows in the future. ‘Not Another Murder Mystery’ is Beau’s first ever performance at the Hayman Theatre and is incredibly excited to play the newest character to the show, the Psychic.

Our Silent Film Actress; Marlie Maplin is played by Danika Bentley!

Danika Bentley (she/they) is an actor and stage manager from Boorloo (Perth) Western Australia, who has recently graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor in Theatre Arts. Danika performed as “Kate” in Sunburnt Productions, PAWA nominated show“Mosquito” (2022) and as “Young Gabrielle”in “When the Rain Stops Falling”and “Hermia” in “Dead Man’s Cellphone” both at The Hayman Theatre (2023). She also Stage Managed Adam Mitchell’s PAWA award winning show “The Little Prince” (2023) with Freeze Frame Opera. Danika works as a part-time stage manager at John Curtin College of the Arts and as a role play actor for The Experience Lab and plans to move to Sydney in 2025 to continue her pursuit of the arts. Danika is excited to perform in her Fringe debut of “Not Another Murder Mystery” and hope you will enjoy it as much as she has!
