We’ve got our next water shoot happening on Saturday 7th (ground shots only) and Sunday 8th (aerial shots) November.

Currently, our aerial session is fully booked but please get in touch if you’d like to go on the waitlist so we can get in touch if a spot opens up.

We still have space in our ground session on Saturday and are open to any and all ideas! Think about props, like this gorgeous rainbow umbrella Alina Fischer utilised in her shoot.

If you haven’t done an aerial photoshoot before, 25 minutes may seem like such a short period of time to get some amazing shots. But in actual fact, holding a pose for an extended period of time to get the right angle or lighting, or doing multiple attempts at a dynamic skill to capture the peak moment (like Danielle in this shot) is generally much more taxing on the body than a regular training session!

And water adds a whole ‘nother level of complexity to any shoot! The aerial slots for our next water shoot on Sunday 8th November are pretty much fully booked out but we still have ground slots available on Saturday 7th if anyone is keen.

One of our favourite shots of Simone Maver from our Lake Walyungup (Rockingham Salt Lakes) shoot last week.

It was a massive task to get the rig out to this location so we could get these beautiful shots. We couldn’t have done it without the help of so many willing people, including those involved in the shoot, but also some wonderful volunteers Emma Pridham and Jayden. 🙏🏼

We look forward to heading out to this location again but endeavour to make the rig transport process easier in future!

If you haven’t done an aerial photoshoot before, 25 minutes may seem like such a short period of time to get some amazing shots. But in actual fact, holding poses for extended periods of time to get the right angle or lighting (outside the sun/clouds can change lighting very quickly) can be extremely taxing on the body!

An option is to pair up with a buddy or two and book timeslots together so you can have a rest in between poses/apparatuses (or get some cool duo shots like the ones pictured from our latest impromptu shoot)!

UPDATE! Lake Walyungup (Rockingham Salt Lake) Shoot.

To be as open as we can about this location, our test shoot revealed that the surface conditions are exceptionally variable at this time of year.

As you can see from these images, the water shots we could get are incredible, but we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to set the rig up in that spot without knowing how much rain we’d get in the lead up to the shoot. Ground shots will be fine, provided you’re happy to get a bit wet!

The guaranteed surface where we know we’d be able to set the rig up at this time of year is indicated in the last image. So moving forward, we’re keen to get an indication as to who would still be interested in a shoot (ground or aerial) at this location at this time of year, without fully knowing what the backdrop would be until the day of the shoot!
