Some people may have heard on the grapevine that Perth Poker League is being sold. If you haven’t , the answer is yes, we have sold the business that Mel and Myself started just over 9 years ago.
Over those years we have seen players come and go and return to us once again.
We have made so many genuine friendships with so many players.
We have grown so much over the 9 years. We started it with the view to run just 3 times a week, and ended up running 7 days a week, for 8 of the 9 years.
We survived the Covid break, when most businesses didn’t, and came back with a vengeance to be bigger and better than before.
We have taken hundreds of players all over the World to places such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Manilla and Barcelona and of course Australian cities such as Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney just to name a few.
Mel and Myself would love to thank you all for the support that you have given to us over the last 9 years, without your support, we wouldn’t have been around for so long.
We would like to wish the New Owners Eddie, Lars and Danny all the best in your new roles, and we are looking forward to see what you guys have got planned for poker in perth. They take over this Sunday.
We are planning a farewell game on Monday the 9th of October at The Morley Eagles Baseball club. Everyone is welcome to come along, so we can thank you all for the wonderful support you have shown us.
