🖼️ EXHIBITION 🖼️
Each year in January, the Dunsborough Art Society host their ‘Summer Art Exhibition’ at the Yallingup Hall.
My favourite artworks this year are watercolour paintings by artist, Jane Andel.
The hall was originally a school building in Karridale, a town almost 65km south of Yallingup. It was transported to Yallingup in 1920 by horses and the local community worked together to rebuilt it. At that time, it was used for church services and meetings for the Country Women’s Association (CWA).
Today the Yallingup Hall is used for art exhibitions, community events and exercise classes.

Four years ago today! 💙
A drawing workshop for teenagers titled ‘Marine Life Magic’. 🪸 These pieces certainly are magical! ✨
Their initial pencil drawings were done using inspiration from photos of marine animals. Pops of colour were added using watercolour paint, then fine pattern details were added over the top using black pen. 🐙🐚🦀
