We pride ourselves on our high standard of teachers and students in the recognised method of Cecchetti ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers Dancing (ISTD) modern syllabus. We also offer open classes in contemporary and hip hop to children and adults.

On Sunday we held our annual PSB Progress Exams at our Osborne Park studios. Over 120 students sat exams this year in ballet & modern.
We need to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all our students. You’ve been working so hard and it certainly showed, and the smiles were a lovely bonus!
Thank you to all our amazing teachers for the wonderful job you have done preparing your students - they did you proud. And a big thank you to our esteemed examiners, Helene Gowers, Courtney Jones & Jo White, our students are so lucky to have such knowledgeable and talented people helping them along on their dance journey.

We made a mistake on our recent post regarding Born To Perform results.
Our gorgeous part timer Poppy placed 2nd for her Contemporary and also got 3rd for her classical solo. Such incredible results Poppy - so sorry we got that wrong!!!

These incredibly lucky young dancers had the privilege of doing a character masterclass today with the amazing Ms Alida Segal. Along with having a load of fun they also learnt so much in preparation for their upcoming exams.

The Perth School of Ballet has Professional Training Program aimed at aspiring young dancers. Students have the opportunity to study in either our Part Time or Full Time program and develop the technique, skills and artistry required for a career in the professional dance arena.
Entry into the program is via audition.

You might remember earlier in the year that full timer Abigail made the finals of the Australian Classical Grand Prix over in Sydney. Well this week she’s been back to compete in said finals and done amazingly!
Abigail placed FIRST for her contemporary solo and RUNNER UP for her classical. To top it off she also received cash prizes AND a short term scholarship with Ballet Manila. Just outstanding Abigail.

People often ask us at what age students can start at PSB, and the great news is we have Tiny Tots classes for students as young as 2.5years old. Our Tiny Tots classes are designed specifically for our youngest dancers. They develop gross and fine motor skills, musicality, and a love of dance. Classes are Mondays at 9.15am and Saturdays at 9.00am. To organise a FREE TRIAL just email us.
