Pro tip: pain is an output of your nervous system.

My favourite definition of pain is that it is an action signal to move differently. This is why we have rules in training.
1. Do not move into pain
2. If there is pain, do it slower
3. If there is still pain, do it smaller.

Always keep moving, it’s why we have a brain in the first place.

Recovery is the limiting factor in most programs and is the reason why many good athletes never make the transition to great. The best of the best recovery as hard as they train.

7-9 hours sleep, good nutrition and adequate hydration are all non-negotiables. These are the basics.

For active recovery, do the little things often. Stretch, meditate, foam roll, mobility, and mindfulness.
