19 days until Christmas! This year I'm doing a limited run of custom gingerbread houses starting from $40. Pick your own colours/theme and I'll do the rest!

Orders close Wednesday 15 December or when places are filled.

Pick up /delivery from Monday 20 December to Thursday 23 December unless otherwise arranged.

Recipe Wednesday: Lemon curd!

Ingredients
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
160g sugar
80g butter
160ml lemon juice
Approx 1 tsp lemon juice

Method
Whisk eggs and egg yolks with sugar and lemon juice in a double boiler. Add the butter and heat gently while whisking constantly
When thick on the back of a spoon remove from heat and strain through a sieve.
Add the lemon zest.
Allow to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate.

It's been a bit quiet on here as M moved house but the raining weekend called for a sunshine yellow lemon cake with homemade lemon curd from home grown lemons. This is the perfect cake to bring sunshine into our lives.
