Armadale x Northlake Rd Underpass & Bridge Project.

So happy to see this all come together!
It’s been a long ride, and was one of my very first projects I was commissioned for. It’s been amazing to see my growth over this time, especially with everything Id learnt in between the beginning and end of this project, and then going back to it 2 years later -I found it very difficult to paint at first because I felt my energy had shifted and I could have told a better story and expressed it in another way (all artist self doubt) but it was signed off so no going back haha

Honestly though, overall it was an amazing project, with some amazing people that I couldn’t thank enough.

I learnt so much acceptance with this job, with so much back and forth and what could and couldn’t be done and it was definitely a core experience that has left my koort wanting more.

Anyways. Here’s some pictures from today. 😋

I had so much fun painting this funky table!

I wanted to bring culture and fun into the space and as the table sits out front of the it’s definitely inviting!

I was asked to paint a portrait of Anthony Mundine for the 2021 Indigenous Emerging Buisness Forum and successfully auctioned off the piece for $1000 which will go towards indigenous buisness’s affected by COVID.

Foundation Housing Project at their Newcastle street site. It was a privilege doing another mural for FH and getting to know their tenants, thank you to the FH once again for making me feel like family, and for all their understanding with setbacks and thanks to the tenants who gave their helping hand! ✨
