The 31st Greek Film Festival opens with the Australian premiere of Best Friends Forever, a contemporary Greek comedy about friendship, good intentions and the unexpected consequences of trying to help the people we care about.

A wedding goes off the rails before it even begins, a well-meaning favour turns into a trip to Crete filled with misunderstandings and family tensions, and a series of innocent errands quickly spiral into chaos. As the stories unfold, Best Friends Forever explores the choices we make for our friends through characters and situations that feel instantly familiar, blending humour with plenty of heart.
