In light of the recent COVID-19 restrictions- Gender Blender Burlesque will not be able to go ahead on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th and 13th at Connections Nightclub.

Last but certainly not least, please welcome; Karl Kayoss to the fam!
Karl Kayoss has been a boylesque staple here in Perth for the last 3 years after winning Mr Boylesque Australian in 2017. Although his career started may years before this, his widely popular “hold your breath” act made him a well known name. This “King of Boylesque” has been on top of the game, getting flown around Australia to perform in shows and large scale festivals. He is known for many styles of performance including, circus and drag but is mostly know for his dark and s*xy burlesque shows. This back flipping, dark angel is ready to leave you on the edge of your very wet seat and make you question your very Being 🖤

Introducing Veronica Jean Jones!
VJJ is a loud, proud, curvaceous and flirtatious transgender showgirl from Perth.
Coming from a performing arts background at John Curtin in Fremantle, VJJ started her drag career in 2010 after graduating with dance, music and acting training.

Winning Queen of the Court in 2011 was a huge push which helped her make her way into being a regular at The Court and Connections- hosting Drag Factory, Bingay and performing/producing in shows across both venues .
Since then, she has worked for Fringe Festival, WA Aids Council and TAFE WA just to name a few- leaving her mark across almost every venue in Perth City

If you're not questioning your s*xuality, confused or entertained- she hasn't done her job !

Described as “A Roald Dahl character brought to life,” Veruca Sour is your sleep paralysis demon in the flesh. Winner of Miss Burlesque WA 2017 and co-manager of the q***r collective BurLEZque, she's taken her grotesque exuberance all over Australia, Singapore, and even a ship with The Australian Burlesque Cruise. This chaotic cabaret potato is known for her kitschy theatricality and has gained a reputation for her scientifically improbable facial contortions.

Hold onto your Jaw’s folks, because she's dropping them! Sugar Du Joure is known as the crystalled Countess of Comedy in Western Australia. A Burlesque Matriarch of Lady Velvet Cabaret, and title winner of 1st Runner Up Miss Burlesque Australia 2016! She has performed all over the world, bringing her Cavi-Tease to the international stages of London, Paris and Bordeaux!

Scarlet Adams is back for GBB2! At 6 foot something, this leggy lass is one of Western Australia’s very own Drag and Burlesque icons.
A comedy queen through and through with a costumers eye for details and an affiliation for alliteration, she is a gifted glamorous gender bender. She made history in 2018 by being the first Drag Queen to ever compete and then win the prestigious title of Miss Burlesque Australia and has since gone on to perform in cities all around Australia.
