Enjoying my Slender tree frogs recently. They are so well hidden in the reeds but once you get your eye in you'd be amazed at how many there are.

Slender Tree Frog whose Latin name is 'Litoria adelaidensis'.

It's named after Adelaide...a city where this frog is not found...sure why not!

Finding a tawny frog mouth is always a treat. These masters of camouflage hardly move during the day and won't make a sound.

I was taking a little lunch break and been sat around for half an hour before noticing this bird and its mate just watching me.

Crested Pigeon getting bullied in the park.

In a not so glamorous park in Sydney this family of Noisy Miners weren't happy with this pigeon. The pigeon and its mate had been foraging on the ground when the family of miners swooped down and started chasing the poor pigeons off. Both species are very common in the urban parks around the city and often I would find the miners harassing the pigeons and other city dwelling birds.

The Powerful Owl.

Australia's largest owl, this bird did not disappoint. I was amazed to find this bird and it's partner within walking distance to Sydney's Central Business District.

These massive birds are capable of taking on prey weighing more than themselves such as possums! Just take a look at those talons! Epic!

"Watching through feathers" - A recent Great Created Tern image.

It has been way too long since I've posted anything to social media and actually I really haven't been going out with the camera too much lately. But I have a little trip away next week to explore a new part of Australia, and spend some quality time in nature with the camera. I can't wait to share more of that with you in time and get back into my photography.

Twany frogmouths are such a wonderfully weird bird.
I have so many images of them from last few years, and most of them is eyes shut and snoozing.

Luckily, the last few weeks, the local chicks have been awake during the day and curious as to what's around them.
