BreaknBreads touches down in Perth for the very first time with WestCoast — a full-scale hip hop battle night bringing raw lyricism, energy, and live performance culture to Milk Bar on Fri 17 July!

Headlining the card is a special compliment battle between two heavy hitters, Greeley vs Cortex, flipping the format and raising the bar for creativity and performance. Also on the lineup, expect straight-up fire in the main battles as Charisma ATL takes on Smithy, alongside a stacked roster of additional matchups showcasing some of the sharpest pen games in the scene.

Beyond the battles, WestCoast delivers full culture energy with MPC showcases, freestyle battles, and surprise moments designed to push improvisation and crowd participation to the limit.

This is more than an event — it’s BreaknBreads bringing the battle culture to the West Coast for the first time.

THE VOLCANICS are set to release their new album 'Too Late To Run', with a massive launch show at Milk Bar!

It’ll be the seventh album from the band and probably their most hard hitting yet. Recorded and produced by Jozef Grech (Datura4) at RADA studios and mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (The Dirtbombs), the new LP features ten killer new tracks including singles Heat Of The Night with its driving rhythm and the anthemic Walk You Home, both released earlier in the year to much fanfare and celebration. There’s also the swaggering Body Shake, the rum drunk wooziness of Lost Boats and the title track itself Too Late To Run, the pièce de résistance of the record with its heavy riffs and epic guitar runs that lead into a soulful rock chorus which leaves the listener begging for more.

Headlining the evening is Slippery When Wet - The Bon Jovi Tribute, fronted by the exceptional Graeme Smailes. Delivering a powerhouse performance, the band brings to life the legendary catalogue of Bon Jovi with authenticity and energy. Amy Winehouse, one of the most prolific and celebrated vocalists in music history, was a seminal talent whose death left an incredible hole in music that is still being felt to this day. With hits such as Back to Black, Love is a Losing Game and Valerie - her eclectic musical style inspired artists well beyond her years and those up and coming.

Come to MILK BAR on Friday 24 July to hear a band of incredible musicians pay tribute to Amy Winehouse, featuring internationally renowned lead vocalist Lisa Woodbrook.

On the last weekend of every month, Perth metal night HORNOGRAPHY comes around with killer live bands, metal DJ, giveaways, resident photographer, merch, and a whole lot of good wholesome debauchery!

In May we descend into another night of Heavy Metal destruction with our Friday Fright Night special! We have a mixed bag of killer bands to whet your metal palette including epic metal giants DARKYRA, south-west stoner/doom band HIDDEN FEAST, death metal skull crushers VILE MUTILATION and heavy metal stalwarts TEARS OF VENOM.

On top of all that we have local Perth metal legend Paul Di Scerni of thrash metal band Cold Fate taking over the DJ decks to crank out his favorite tunes all night. Paul is also bringing over the mighty Mortal Sin to Perth on June 20th via Executioner Promotions and we will have a double pass giveaway to the event!

Plus other giveaways and the usual shenanigans at Perth's best metal club!

SKYE HIGH BURLESQUE returns to Milk Bar on Sunday 31 May with 'CAMP'! Think magpie worthy shiny rhinestones in the wilderness, showgirls by the campfire, and performances that are equal parts cheeky, fierce, and downright iconic.... or maybe even ironic.

Join the Skye High Cadets, alongside their powerhouse team of instructors (*cough cough, camp councillors), and perhaps some special guest artists, as they take the stage in a showcase bursting with personality fit for a beauty pageant. From glam to silly and everything in between, this is camp the way it should be.... fabulously theatrical, in a throwing fuel on a fire kinda way.
