Olga. Masha. Irina. Reality vs Dreams.

Tempest Theatre brings an adaptation of Three Sisters that strips the original to its essence. Longing. Despair. Isolation.

If you think you know Chekhov, you haven’t seen these three sisters.

Work in development: The Game

Women’s football in Australia has skyrocketed in popularity since the success of the Commbank Matildas in the 2023 Women’s World Cup. However, the laborious plight of women in sport does not end with the popularity of the Matildas. There is still a long journey toward equality in women’s sports. ‘The Game’ is a new dance-theatre performance piece that focuses in on women’s football in order to zoom out and look at the importance of all women’s sports, and advocate for stronger sports pathways for q***r and gender diverse peoples.

Over the next month, you can catch our Artist in Residence - Leah Robyn, workshopping and developing this work in The Studio!

If you are visiting the centre and her door is open, feel free to stop by and ask her about her practice and this project.
