**OUR SINCERE THANKS TO BELLBOWRIE MECHANICAL**
To Bellbowrie Mechanical at Seventeen Mile Rocks — our naming rights sponsor — thank you. Not the quick kind. The real kind, from a whole community.
You've backed this festival year after year, long enough that your support has become part of the furniture of the day.
And on Saturday, you could see it everywhere. Your marquees out across the green. Your name on the banners. And the part that got us, quietly — the next generation of festival volunteers, our young ones, running the day in Bellbowrie shirts. Kids growing up in Oxley, learning what it means to show up for your own community, wearing the name of a local family business that taught them how it's done by example.
That's what this is really about. Chris and David grew up here — through Nixon Park, past the magpies, goals for Oxley United. Now they put it back, year after year, so the next lot of Oxley kids get the same childhood Saturdays they did. That's not sponsorship. That's belonging.
So here's the one thing we'll ask of everyone who had a free afternoon on Saturday: when your car needs a service, a repair, or just an honest look-over — take it to Bellbowrie Mechanical at Seventeen Mile Rocks. A family-run workshop since 1985, built on honest advice and quality work. They light up our sky and dress our volunteers — the least our community can do is keep their workshop busy.
Find them, call them, book in, and tell them the festival sent you. That's how a community looks after the people who look after it.
Thank you, Bellbowrie. From all of us. See you next year. ❤️
