Congratulations to all of our National Finalists who joined us for the 2026 Agricultural Shows Australia National Dairy Cattle Paraders competition. 🐄🌾

It was fantastic to see young competitors from across Australia come together and showcase their skills on the national stage.

A huge congratulations to our winner and runner-up:

We’re also incredibly proud of our Queensland representative, Brooke Bennett, for representing our state at the National Final. 👏

Today, we have concluded the Queensland Agshows State Competitions with the Young Dairy Cattle Paraders. We were joined with youth from across Queensland, putting skills to the test.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 State Final winners:
🥇 State Champion: Ayce Barron, Ekka
🥈 Runner-Up: Caityln Northfield- Beaudesert Show Society.

And a big shoutout to our State Finalists.
Congratulations to every youth who made it to this level, and to the families, mentors, dairy exhibitors, show societies and volunteers who supported them along the way.

We love celebrating the next generation of young agricultural leaders!

Sammy Cormie-Smith recently caught up with Amy Collins from Wallumbilla Show after she took out first place in the Stud Beef Young Judges State Finals. 🏆👏

What makes Amy's achievement even more special is that it all started with her high school cattle team. Nine years in the making, this was her first time competing at State level, and she came home with the top honour!

Amy says there are too many people to thank individually, but made special mention of her family for their unwavering support throughout her journey.

Make sure you watch right to the end to hear Amy's advice for the next generation of young judges. It's well worth the listen! 🎥🌟

The 2026 Queensland Rural Ambassador Awards have officially closed. An evening spent "Empowering Youth, Nurturing Rural Leadership", as we watched 11 of the states finest talk about their passions and life experience.

Let's take a chance to look back on the 2026 Queensland Rural Ambassador Runner Up- Matthew McCauley, Murgon Show Society - South Burnett Sub Chambers.

The 2026 Queensland Rural Ambassador Gala Dinner auction, held on 9 August, brought plenty of spirited bidding, friendly rivalry and generosity to the evening. A wonderful range of donated items went under the hammer, with all proceeds supporting the continued delivery and growth of the Queensland Rural Ambassador Program, helping empower young people and nurture the next generation of rural leaders.

The top-selling item was a handcrafted timber hat stand generously created and donated by Rural Ambassador alumnus and committee member Matthew Petty.

Overall, the raffle and auction raised over $10,000!
