Thoughts on the Mickey Thompson Tyres πŸ‘‡
We have been running the Mickey Thompson Baja boss all terrain 285/70R17 and have been really impressed with them πŸ™Œ
On this set of Tyres so far, we've travelled from Australia's most southerly point to the most northern point along with many many offroad tracks and highways inbetween with a combinationof towing and not towing- they haven't skipped a beat!

Is this rear swing away bar for the Everest worth the money?

YES it absolutely is πŸ™Œ

We have just lived out of our car for 3 weeks straight while we travelled to Cape York and it wouldn't have been as comfortable without the Novaa Gear rear bar!
We have had so many compliments and questions so thought we post a video to show exactly what it is.

Novaa Gear make rear bars for a range of vehicles so reach out to them if you're in the market!

We are going to post more videos on our Ford Everest build, so keep following us for more πŸ‘‡

There a few bypass roads for those who want to have a look at some of the creek crossings on the Old Telegraph Track, but not drive the whole thing.

The Gunshot bypass gives you 2 options- you can drive to the entrance (south) or the exit (north)

The bypass roads are quite corrugated.
But lower your tyres pressures and it will make all the difference- we had ours at around 17psi.
We wouldn't recommend towing down these roads without off road towing experience.

Gunshot is a great spot to watch one of the most challenging crossings!

Finally, the rig overview you've been asking for!
After countless trips, thousands of kilometres and plenty of lessons learned, here's a brief walk through of our touring set up.
We will post more videos and go into details on all the extras in the coming days explaining what gear we couldn't do without, what mods work well, what we'd do differently and why we chose each upgrade.

We want to hear from you πŸ‘‡
πŸ‘‰ What is your favourite mod?
πŸ‘‰ What would you change?
πŸ‘‰ What have we missed?

Part 15, Nolan's Brook - Definitely the deepest water crossing on the Old Telegraph Track.
We camped here for 2 days and absolutely loved watching so many people come through the crossing. Some got stuck and watching the recoveries were fun, everyone was happy to help where they could.
The entire area had a fun vibe!

Our advise: walk the crossing, pick your line, drop your tyre pressures (ours was at 15psi), have your recovery method ready (you don't want your car sitting in water longer then it needs to be), have fun, grab your camp chair and sit and watch others πŸ˜ƒ

We met and hung out with some awesome people including: Darren Wilgress Glen Wilgress Aislinn Roberts Lauren T Mark.R Trent Harrison NQ Dirt Bike Tours
