Farewell Max Croot, the beloved founder of the Shoalhaven City Concert Band. Max’s vision and passion for music led to the creation of the band in 1994, and over the decades his dedication helped shape it into a vibrant and inclusive musical community.

Max was more than a founder, he was a mentor and a friend. His legacy lives on in every note we play, every rehearsal we attend and every concert we share with our community. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will forever resonate in the music we make.

Thank you Max, for everything. You will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

We made full use of the limited spaces at the Nowra School of Arts yesterday for the Summer Sounds Workshop! Hats off to the Flute and Clarinet sections for the most creatve use of space! “Clarinets in the Cupboard” and “Flutes on the Footpath” (well almost 😁)

We were ahead of our time when we presented my flower pot xylophone piece a few years ago. This woman is coming to Perth in the next school holidays, featuring a piece on flower pots!
