Merri Creek bridge upgrade works High Street Northcote : VicRoads

If you are planning to visit The Bar Next Door this weekend, please note that there are bridgeworks that have closed the High St bridge across the Merri creek at Clifton Hill. Please make your travel plans to deal with this temporary blockage.

It is with great sadnees that we bring the news that Randy from Randy & Jah Roots
Has recently passed away.

Randy was a stalwart of the Australian Reggae music scene. The roots have been playing since at least the 1980s.

Recenly Randy & Jah Roots had been playing great shows at the Bar and we will miss him greatly.

Hello everyone.

Due to the recent lockdown announcement,
The Bar Next Door will not open for the next week. This is clearly a very difficult time for all.

We want to particularly thank all those patrons, customers and visitors who have supported The Bar Next Door so far this year.

As soon as we are able, we will reopen our doors to continue to bring the best African and related music to Northcote.

We really appreciate the great loyalty of our regulars, and look forward to bringing you some more great performances.
