Scott McArdle - Artist A Boorloo (Perth) based writer-director who formerly produced theatre under the company Second Chance Theatre.

Scott McArdle is an award-winning writer and director who lives and works on the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people. Recent work includes PLAYTHINGS (Black Swan State Theatre Company x The Blue Room Theatre), IMPROV DND (BS Productions), MR BURNS, A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY (Murdoch University), and LAIKA: A STAGED RADIO PLACE (Second Chance Theatre). He was Artistic Director for Second Chance Theatre for 10 years.

Absolutely chuffed to announce that at The Blue Room Theatre's AGM on Monday night I was inducted onto the board.

I owe the big blue house my entire career and spent over a decade as a volunteer, a staff member, and an artist within its hallowed halls.

I'm looking forward to working alongside the rest of the board, chair Mallika, and CEO Sukhjit in continuing the excellent and vital work that Bluey plays in the ecosystem of our sector 💙
