Recently, I have been reflecting on why NAPA started...
When life get busy and stress builds up, it's easy to lose sight of the purpose and value of 'why we started' in the first place.
I strongly believe that high quality Performing and Creative Arts education should not be something that is limited to those privileged enough to afford it or limited to those located in metropolitan areas.
The greatest growth we see through the Arts is not just performance skill but: Human Connection, Community and Confidence.
And with every week that NAPA Club runs; I see participants bravely pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones.
I see friendships forming between young people who finally feel understood.
I see students finding confidence, joy and a place where they feel seen, heard and valued.
And that is why NAPA started. Because no matter what your situation; everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves, live their truth and belong.
