FREE PROGRAM | Ages 14–17
Art making - creative collaboration - skill building.

ARTHAUS is a creative arts group for young people to explore contemporary art, self-expression and wellbeing in a safe, supportive environment.

Facilitated by a professional art therapist and artist alongside skilled youth workers, the program offers a space to connect with other creative young people, build confidence, develop techniques, and explore creative expression through hands-on art making and shared processes, with gentle learning around healthy choices.

The group is neuro-affirming and supports a range of ways of thinking, learning and engaging.

Super happy to be facilitating again this year's Kinship Festival 2025 – 10 Year Anniversary
Community Sand Art Installation

Every year, the Kinship Festival creates a large-scale community sand art installation designed by Aboriginal artists, a joyful, hands-on way for everyone to connect with Country, community, and culture.

This year’s artwork has been designed by Rachael Cavanagh and tells the story of all that the Kinship Festival stands for: connection, celebration, and cultural sharing.

From 10am tomorrow (Saturday 20th Sept) at Knox Park at Murwillumbah ✨

I’ve been working alongside the awesome team at Byron Youth Service and an incredibly talented group of local young artists to bring this show to life, and it’s almost here.
Join us to celebrate the creative voices of local young people as they explore the connection between inner worlds and global perspectives through bold paintings and intricate sculptural works.
