15 min painting.

I cant stand waste. I had a little excess paint from another painting I'm working on, had a small canvas, and decided to just throw it on with a little more white and yellow ochre, and a beach scene in mind.
I may build a little more on when dry, but I like the thick textures of oil paint.
I'm looking forward to spending some time down the coast in a couple of weeks. Getting some inspiration and meeting family.

Last day tomorrow for my exhibition Nurturant.
Sunday May 17th. I'm offering 30% Off selected artworks.

Please pop in to Kilderkin Distillery tomorrow for the end of the exhibition. I will be there at 3pm if anyone would like to catch up, purchase a piece, or just celebrate with me.
Its been an awesome journey. Thankyou to all for your support. The team at Kilderkin have been amazing. They do not charge commission, so all sales go directly to the artist at the end of the exhibition.

If you would like to take advantage of the sales, please visit tomorrow from 11am to 6pm. Sales can be made directly to Kilderkin tomorrow. Any further sales of these works, queries, or quotes for commissions, please contact me directly after May 17th.

Remembering Bernie. Our mate, muse, and garden supervisor.
2008 - May 15th 2024.
I spent time in the garden tending to his space today. Planted seedlings, and a Banksia. The flowers represent the colour of his eyes. Last year on this day I planted a Pincushion which is growing well.

So many memories. So grateful he shared his life with us. He has brought so much love awareness, and inspiration. Always missing you, but carry within, so much of your nature ❤️🕊

I think we all carry some really difficult times throughout our life. As long as we can see the horizon and allow light in from others, there will be a clear lit path again.
