It was a bitter sweet farewell to Davon from our U10 Aussie Hoops group this week. They’ve loved having him on court each Monday, helping with their skills & drills, and coaching their games.

It is with great sadness that we advise our members of the loss of another one of our 'founding fathers' on Sunday. Brian Whyte was our Association's first ever President who, along with Graeme Phillips & Keith Williams mortgaged their own properties to purchase the land on which our courts now sit. Without Brian, Graeme & Keith's vision & hard work, our club would not be what it is today.
We hope that these fine gentlemen are now all in heaven discussing their next basketball project together. Brian's funeral will be held at St.Paul's church Moss Vale at 11:30am on Thursday 10 September 2026.

💚 THANK YOU, MAGIC FAMILY 💚

As the 2026 season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to simply say thank you.

Magic Basketball is so much more than what happens on the court. It’s the people who fill the stands, the families who make the sacrifices, the volunteers who give their time, the players and coaches who give everything, our incredible sponsors who believe in our club, and the people who continue to show up week after week.

Our community is what makes Magic Basketball so special. The energy, passion and support you bring to every game creates an atmosphere we are incredibly proud of. We truly believe we have the best basketball community in the league.

There is plenty to be proud of from our teams this season. Our Waratah Men finished 2nd, our Youth Women made their third straight finals appearance, and our Youth Men recorded their most wins in five years. We couldn’t be prouder of the growth and effort across all three teams.

To everyone who has played a part in making 2026 such a memorable season — thank you. Every contribution, big or small, helps make Magic what it is, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our family.

Here’s to an unforgettable 2026 - we’re excited to see what’s in store for 2027 💚
