Are you feeding your fish too much? 🐟🍽️

Overfeeding is one of the easiest ways to create problems in your aquarium. Uneaten food quickly turns into extra waste, which can affect water quality, fuel algae and put unnecessary stress on your fish.

A simple rule: only feed what your fish can comfortably eat within 1–2 minutes.

More food doesn’t mean healthier fish. Clean water, consistent maintenance and the right amount of food are the keys to a thriving aquarium.

A clean filter = a healthy aquarium.🐠

Regular filter maintenance is essential for keeping good flow, clear water and a healthy environment for your fish and plants.

One important tip: clean your filter media and aquarium equipment in old tank water during a water change, not under the tap. This helps protect the beneficial bacteria living in your filter that keep your aquarium stable.

You don’t need to scrub everything spotless. Remove the buildup, rinse the media gently, clean the impeller and keep everything flowing properly.

A little regular maintenance goes a long way.

Three tools every aquascaper should own 🌿🐠

If you’re just getting started, you don’t need every gadget on the market. These three tools will make building and maintaining your aquascape so much easier.

✂️ Scissors – Trim plants cleanly to keep your aquascape looking its best.
🌱 Tweezers – Plant with precision, even in the tightest spaces.
🖌️ Brush – Clean hardscape, remove debris, and keep your layout looking pristine.

There are plenty of other tools that can help, but these three are the perfect foundation for any aquascaper.

PART 3 of our 11ft Aquarium Build is here! 🌿🐟

The hardscape is complete… now it’s time to bring this incredible aquarium to life.

This client has chosen an amazing community of around 800 fish, featuring vibrant Rainbowfish, Tetras, and Corydoras. Once they’re all settled in, this display is going to be absolutely breathtaking, with thousands of flashes of colour and constant movement throughout the scape.

This is one of our biggest and most exciting builds yet, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result.

Big tanks deserve big ideas. 🐟🐠🌱

Watch Kevin Kevin Chuang transform this 4ft Waterbox Aquariums Eden aquarium into the foundation of an incredible aquascape, carefully building complex hardscape structures designed to create depth, flow, and natural movement throughout the layout.

For this build, Kevin chose the dramatic textures and rugged character of Magma Stone to create a bold and powerful landscape that will only get better as the plants grow in.

Aquascaping isn’t just stacking rocks, it’s creating an underwater world.
