❤️ This week is National Volunteer Week — and here in Moora, we know better than most just how much volunteers make our community what it is.

From the footy club to the bush fire brigade, the show society to the local events that bring us all together — it's volunteers who make it happen.

This year's theme is Your Year to Volunteer. Whether you've been thinking about putting your hand up, or you've been quietly giving your time for years — this week is for you.

***FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY***

Would you like to earn some money for your club or school? or other fundraisers? Look no further.

We are looking for a small group of people that are happy to sell tea, coffee, water and other drinks from the canteen window at the Moora Show on Saturday 19th September. This can be from 10am - 2pm or longer if you wish. All profits are yours and canteen is free to use.

You can add snacks, sandwiches etc as well if you like.
Hot water is there and so is the cool room.

Do you know someone in Moora who just quietly gets on with it?

The WA Volunteer Service Awards recognise volunteers who have given five years or more of service to their community — and we know we have plenty of those legends right here.

This is your chance to formally thank someone who gives their time, skills and energy to make our community stronger.
