I've been working hard on new designs for our Heart & Home Tattoo Book Club.

Whats on my shelves?

I'm a huge romantacy buff, but I love mixing it up between cozy and dark, heavier on the fantasy or romance scale. I try to enjoy each book as it were written, with the different writing styles and tropes. Take When the moon hatched for example, it's so widely criticised however if you read it for her style, it's really enjoyable.

Absolutely loved the exorcism of faeiries by J.L Vampa. A gentler romance tied into a great plot. Enjoyed the subtle mixture of dark and cozy.

I devoured the Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gilig and feel she's my new favourite author. Low key want my own gargoyle.

Can't wait to read Shadow Reaper by Lynette Noni and The Poet Empress by Shen Tao

I enjoyed Daggermouth by H.M Wolfe, though feel it was a little overhyped.

Furybound by Sable Sorenson didn't match my expectations after falling in love with Direbound. Still love direwolves though.

I'm thrilled to announce my debut novel, The Summoning is currently being pitched to agents and publishers. How incredible!

So, I'm putting myself out there; I'm here to make friends! If you’re a reader, writer, or author. if you work in the publishing industry, or just have an affinity for stories, be my friend!

I'm a Melbourne-based writer and full-time tattooist with my own boutique studio. I'm a mother and a long-time dreamer.

I am obsessed with all things Romantasy. It all began with *Twilight* and my love for guitar and lyric writing as a teen, and my obsession with hardcore music. I love mythological creatures and folklore, norse mythos is my favourite.
I lost count of how many times I watched *Anne of Green gables as a kid. Shirley Barber's fairy books will always hold a place in my heart.

I've spent the past year and a half writing and studying through the Australian Writers' Centre, as well as a huge number of podcasts and books on writing well.

I could have been a witch or a fairy in a past life, possibly both, who will ever know.

Last night, I was honored to host an evening for my beta team. I'm truly grateful for my bookish community and all the support I've received so far.

It's an incredible journey writing romantasy. I'm taking all feedback with tenacity, as it's all invaluable in helping this series strengthen.

Draft five is almost ready for structural edits, and I plan to draft Book Two in the coming months.

Why stop when you're going strong?

If you're looking for a book club that feeds you, Bookatini is a beautiful way to engage with fellow readers and meet new people. This is my second time and we had a Twilight night! Absolutely loved it revisiting a series that has paved the way for romantacy today. ❤️
