Soul in the City is a Northern Soul club which has been running since 2004 in Brisbane initially at The Alliance Tavern and St Paul's Tavern until we found our current home The Polish Club and have been there since 2005. We have 3 to 4 events a year with DJ's playing a broad range of soul music including Northern Soul, Modern Soul and Motown from original vinyl. The Polish Club has a large wooden dance floor, excellent sound system and a full bar of Polish & local brews. All newcomers are encouraged to attend and will be made to feel welcome. Get ready to dance!

DJ’s Sam Ward (Boogie Wonderland) and DJ Gaz (Soul In The City) are teaming up once again to bring you Boogie Nights number 3.
We’ll be spinning classic 70’s Disco vinyl all night at the Polish Club Milton with it’s large wooden floor, excellent sound, cheap bar and a friendly atmosphere where all are welcome.

The last two of these nights we’re a blast, with dancing and good times all night.

July 11th!

Super happy to be teaming up again with DJ Sam Ward for another night of classic 70's Disco at the Polish Club. The last two nights have been absolutely brilliant.

Massive thanks to all who made it along last Saturday it was an excellent turnout which made it a really great night for us.
Thank you to my co-hosts Steve and Ainsley for all they do to put the night on, thanks to the DJ's Steve, Ainsley, Webby, John Phillips and Nige Lowe for their sterling work on the decks and keeping the floor moving throughout the night, there were some really great records played that you'll hear nowhere else. Thanks to our hosts the Polish Club volunteers for all their hard work keeping us well oiled and facilitating our night, great to see Jadwiga behind the bar again. Final thanks to Lenny Webber and anyone else who helped us pack down and load out, it's a s**t job so every bit of help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all again for your support of our night. We'll be back to do it all again in August.
