I have finished my Owl and Hare Hollow quilt. Pattern is by The Birdhouse. I have absolutely loved making this. So many different types of stitching, in particular the slow stitching. I did QAYG (quilt as you go) joining the blocks with a 1” sashing.
Whats next? Another quilt called Sunshine & Lollipops by Anni Downs. This one has more appliqués, embroidery and patchwork. “Stitching makes me Happy”. 🥰

In between all of my sewing I have been busy making this beautiful heirloom baby rug. This has to be one of my favourite patterns for a little girl. Pattern is by Vanessa Smith and crocheted in Bendigo Woollen Mills 4 ply cotton. Colour Pink Rose.

After 14 years I have finally finished my Dear Jane quilt. She spent a few times hidden in the corner just waiting. There were moments when I thought I never wanted to finish it. What a learning experience it was. So many little pieces.
She now sits with my others and its a good feeling to have done it.

This is what I am working on at the moment. It is called The Owl & Hare Hollow by the Birdhouse.
I am up to Part 4 and I have absolutely loved every moment of this project. So many different sewing techniques. I just love slow stitching, it is so relaxing. Those little we**ie hexies are only 1/4”.

Just finished this beautiful baby rug for a customer. Pattern is Marnies Garden by Vanessa Smith. Crocheted with Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply 100% Cotton.
Colour is Light Lilac.
First time I have used this colour and it has turned out lovely.
